Re-opening under Current Covid levels

Firstly, we would like to thank you all for your patience in awaiting the news on how the St Cuthbert’s Swim School will be re-opening under the Red Light Covid-19 Protection Framework. Please note, the Ministry of Education announced last Friday that schools will remain at the current Alert Level 3, Stage 2 for the remainder of 2021.
After much consideration around the safety of our valued Swim School families, our staff and the St Cuthbert’s College community, we have come to the decision to re-open the Swim School in a limited capacity for private lessons only, for the remainder of 2021. Our standard lesson programme will resume in Term 1, 2022.
Our reasons for this include:
The safety of our swim school families, staff and St Cuthbert’s community is paramount.
St Cuthbert’s students are on site, including the Junior School girls aged under 12, who cannot be vaccinated.
We will not be re-starting the pool boiler for the short window of two weeks. The pool is maintaining a warm temperature of around 24 degrees which, in this lovely summer weather, is comfortable.
Private Lessons are available – from 3 years old upwards
While we have all missed our time in the pool, you may enjoy the benefits of our private lessons. It’s a great introduction back into the water and to focus on water safety aspects going into the Summer Holiday period.
We will be running private lessons starting from Monday 6th to 20th December. The timings are as follows:
Between 4pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday
Between 8am and 12pm, Saturday mornings

One on One 30min $60.00
Two on One 45 min $90.00 (same family)
One on One 45 min $90.00
Two on One 45 min $120.00 (same family)

January 2022 – Holiday Block class bookings are open
We will happily welcome back group classes from Wednesday 12 January 2022, in the form of our weeklong Holiday Block sessions, for ages 3 years old and upwards, based on their usual booked level.

Monday 17th to Friday 21st
(5days) $105.00
Week 3
Monday 24th to Friday 28th
(5days) $105.00
Private lessons will also be available in this time.
Term 1 2022
Term 1 2022 will start on Tuesday 1 February 2022.
